Lecture of the Scottish Branch of the CIArb at 7 pm in the Teacher
Building, St Enochs Square, Glasgow. The subject was "The Implementation of the EU

7 - 12 of February, 2009:
4th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition
(sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators) was held in
Paris. It gathered together 40 universities and more than 85 diverse
legal experts from around the globe. With a view towards training
lawyers to better meet the dispute resolution needs of today’s
cross-cultural market, the Competition was open to university
students all over the world seeking to test their problem-solving skills
in a mock international mediation. This unique Competition - the only
one of its kind - allows its participants to share professional
experience and mediation techniques with tomorrow’s practitioners,
professors, and professionals during numerous social events.
