6 March 2012: Conference: “International Mediation, Conciliation and Arbitration involving Governments” at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, 12 Bloomsbury Square, London, WC1A 2LP. Details available here >>

3 - 8 February 2012: 7th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition in Paris. The 2012 Competition featured around 200 mock mediation sessions, as well as numerous training programmes and social events. Around 60 university teams, as well as over 120 professional mediators and other dispute resolution professionals from all around the world took part.

13 - 15 January 2012: Second Mediation Skills Competition for UK Students - The Worshipful Company of Arbitrators’ Commercial Mediation Competition for Students (in London). The winning team had guaranteed entry into the 7th ICC INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL MEDIATION COMPETITION to be held in Paris from 3 February to 8 February 2012. The prize was worth £3,500 and includes the entry fee for the ICC Competition, return travel from London to Paris by Eurostar, accommodation for the team and their coach for five nights and a contribution towards subsistence. The Competition was won by the team from London Metropolitan University, Leah Angelle Boyer and Ryan O’Donnell. Full details are here >>
